Limited time to blog

Salam. Adoi! tension sungguh bila balik kampung. Memang very limited time to blog. Sibuk dengan acara memasak secara besar-besaran. Kalau balik rumah mak aku, aku la chefnya. Balik rumah mak mertua, pun mcm tu jugak. Rasa mcm nak patah kaki aku berdiri lama2 kat dapur.

Aku baru je sampai rumah pagi tadi setelah almost 2 weeks kat kampung. Alhamdulillah the journey was smooth, takde jam or accident atas jalan, except for kereta yg tersgt la banyaknya dan ada jugak drivers yg jenis tak reti bawak kete. Bawak kete mcm kereta lembu. Bak kata hubby aku, lembu bawak kereta. Which I dont agree la, pesal nak mengata orang. Dah la baru lepas ramadhan. But I guess, he was too damn pissed with some of the drivers attitude, kalau tak reti bawak kereta, duduk diam2 kat rumah, jangan menyemak atas jalan raya. Sometimes drivers yg mcm tu yg caused accidents sebab bawak too slow, or masuk junction slow giler.

Aku akan upload gambar2 raya, gambar tak raya, gambar tepi sungai, tepi hotspring later tonite. Ni nak kena siap2 pegi Jusco dulu. Nak kena beli sayur, dah 2 minggu tinggal rumah, banyak stok barang basah yang dah habis.

Happy Birthday to me!

Wah!! hari ni birthday aku and mak mertua ku juga akan mengadakan open house today. Nasib baik aku tak payah nak bertungkus lumus masak or tolong masak. Cukup la seharian semalam tolong masak. Letih wooo.. Aku requested NY Cheesecake from Secret Recipe from hubby. Tadi pegi cari, but takde, habis stock. Kata budak kat Secret Recipe tu, esok baru ada.. huhuhu... hopefully ada la. Pesal la Terengganu cuma ada 1 je Secret Recipe. Kat KL punya la banyak.

Balik Kampung Trip

On Tuesday, we went back to Terengganu. But since hubby still had to see some customers, so we tagged along, went to stay at Legend Cherating. We had buffet for iftar at Legend Cherating with hubby's friend. Initially we were supposed to stay there for 2 nites, pastu bila pikir2 balik, baik la we all balik Terengganu. So hari rabu tu, kita orang balik to my parents' house.

First time balik kampung with barang penuh kat belakang kereta. Punya la banyak hampers. Some hampers were for hubby's customers, the rest for MIL. My sister in law bagi few hampers for her mom, so hubby ler kena bawak balik since kete dia boleh sumbat byk barang kat belakang. Aku rasa happy sgt2 dapat balik beraya kat kampung. Dah 2 tahun aku tak balik, since keje dengan Mr Baeck tu la. Finally now aku dah berenti, boleh la beraya balik kat kampung.

Kete aku kat KL aku tinggalkan kat rumah As and mintak tolong As untuk tengok2 kan rumah. Taknak la bila balik nanti peti ais mati and rumah bau bangkai. Risau jugak aku. Pastu the cat, the rabbit and the hedgehog pulak, aku placed their welfare under my neighbour's care. Rasanya As pun sure tak larat nak kena singgah rumah aku pagi petang, bagi makan kat animals tu. Rindu jugak aku kat Zorro the rabbit. Hopefully dia takla kurus sepanjang peninggalan kita org ni.

Dalam nak cepat baru ni, aku tertinggal hp kat KL. Geram je rasa.. Alhamdulillah aku dah dapat balik my hp. My sister in law yang tolong bawak balik. Lega rasa. Nanti aku akan upload few photos yg diambik dengan camera ku itu.. hehehe..

Mama : Apa dik?

Iffah : Ada sorang melayu ni, dia cakap dengan sorang orang putih ni something, pastu yang melayu ni cakap la "Thank you." Mat Salleh tu cakap "Thank you too". Pastu orang melayu ni cakap lagi "Thank you three". Mat salleh tu tanya "What do you thank me for?". Orang melayu tu balas "Thank you five". Mat Salleh tu dah bengang, dia tanya "Are you sick?". Then yang melayu tu jawab "No, I'm seven!".

Actually macam malas je nak tulis blog hari ni. But then, aku belum lagi sambung cerita semlm. Erm...

We went to Pavillion semalam lepas asar. Hubby wanted to buy shoes for the girls. Aku malas sungguh nak drive, so I asked hubby to drop us and maybe kalau sempat, kita orang boleh pusing2 kat Pavillion tu. I've never been to PAvillion before. Punya la ulunya aku. Padahal Pavillion dengan rumah aku bukannya jauh pun, about 15 minutes or so.

But tak tau pesal, semalam jam teruk sangat2. Adoi! seksanya nak sampai kat Ampang Elevated highway tu. Once there, it was smooth driving sampai la kat Bukit Bintang. We were a bit lost, tak sure nak parking kat mana dalam Pavillion tu. Bila naik, tengok2 dah sampai kat foodcourt. Menggegarkan iman sungguh lalu tepi foodcourt, bukak posa lambat lagi. Then we went up to PArkson, and managed to buy shoes for the girls. Fuh! finally, raya shopping selesai. Alamak!! still belum habis, kena beli baju kurung for the kids. Aisey!

Anyway, lepas dah beli kasut, it was almost 7.00pm, hubby had to go off, kena jumpa his client, bukak pose dengan client, while I had to rushed down to Tony Roma's, kang tak sempat pulak nak order food. Roger did the honour of ordering food for us coz seriously, aku cam blur tak tau nak makan apa. Nampak macam semua sedap.

Food yang mula2 sampai was bread stick with butter. Peh! nampak tempting giler. Aku apa lagi, patahkan the bread, sapu sikit butter, then when I was about to pop it in my mouth, Roger jerit "Shidah!! belum bukak pose!!". It happened so fast, by the time Roger finished her sentence, bread tu dah selamat landing dalam mulut aku. I saw Iman's horrified looks, Iffah was too shocked to moved.. sungguh memalukan. hehe.. nampak sangat tak sabar2 nak makan. Cam tak pose pulak. Ye la, biasanya kalau duduk kat meja hadap makanan, masa tu dah almost time berbuka. Ni belum berbuka dah hadap makanan, so tangan macam automatic je gerak, takyah suruh2, untuk sumbat food dalam mulut.

We had a great time chatting and gossiping. Roger and Azli might go to Brazil to visit Nisa in February. Bestnya kalau aku boleh ikut. But bila pikir tiket about RM8k, kim salam je la. So expensive!!. .. Kalau tak kerana food kat Tony Roma's tu yang suck, it would be an almost perfect nite out.

I was supposed to tumpang Nisa balik rumah, but Hubby decided to ambik aku and the kids. Sampai je rumah, Hubby said "I did something impulsive, I hope u'll not be angry". Aku cam dah suspen, hubby aku ada affair ke? gi bukak pose dengan pompuan mana ni. Tengok2, dia keluarkan hadiah for my birthday.. hehe.. happy aku! But .... I wasnt happy with the fact that he spend so much to get me a digital SLR. Bila dah biasa hidup on a very strict budget, sekali sekala spend byk, rasa bersalah giler. Thank you dear hubby for the lovely gift. Since birthday aku will fall on 2nd day raya, maka agaknya sebab tu hubby bagi hadiah awal2.

Memang frustrating, the rib rack rasa mcm makan arang, it was overcooked, the meat was very tough, buang duit je bayar almost RM400. Dah ler lepas complain pun, still takde improvement. Enjoy the photos 1st, esok baru nak bercerita.

Earth to Bear Witness

The Prophet of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "Beware of the earth, for it is your root and basis, and there is nothing which a person does on it, that it will not report, whether it is good or bad." (Mujam at-Tabarani)

About Ali (radi Allahu anhu) it is related that when he distributed the money of the Bait ul-Mal (public treasury) among the needy and thus emptied it, he would perform two rakahs of prayer in the Bait ul-Mal and say: "You will have to bear witness that I filled you with justice and emptied you with justice."

The fact is that although Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) directly knows whatever a man does, yet in the Hereafter when He will establish His Court, He will punish every culprit only after fulfilling all the demands of justice. Any case which is brought before His Court against a criminal will be proved with such perfect evidence that no room will be left to doubt his being a criminal. The first and foremost evidence against a person is the record in which the two recording angels are recording his each word and deed. (Surah Qaf: 17-18, Surah Al-Infitar: 10-12) This record will be handed over to him and he will be asked to read it, for "you yourself suffice as reckoner against yourself." (Surah Bani Isra'il: 14) Reading it man will be bewildered, for "it has left nothing un-recorded of our deeds, small or great." (Surah Al-Kahf: 49)

Then there is man's own body which he had used in the world. In Allah's Court his own tongue will bear witness to what he had been speaking through it in the world, his own hands and feet will bear witness to what deeds he had committed through them. (Surah An-Nur: 24) His eyes and his ears will bear witness to what he saw and heard by their means. Even the skin of his body will bear witness to his deeds. Bewildered he will ask his limbs, "Why have you borne witness against me?" They will reply: "The same God Who has given speech to everything has given us speech." (Surah Ha Mim As-Sajdah: 20-22)

On top of this, there will be the witnesses which will be presented from the earth and all its environments, in which man will hear his own voice by his own ears and see the exact pictures of his own deeds by his eyes. Furthermore, the ideas, motives and aims hidden in the heart of man and the intentions with which he had performed every deed will be brought out and placed before him as is stated in Surah Al-Adiyat. That is why with the production of such absolute, clear and undeniable proofs, man will be left confounded, with no chance to say anything in self-defense to excuse himself. Movie Marathon

These past few days, instead of spending more time beribadah, aku spend more time watching movie kat rumah. huwaaaaaaaaaaaa..... apa la nak jadi dengan aku ni?? Orang lain ada improvement dalam peningkatan ibadat berbanding pose last year, aku makin menurun. Something is wrong with me! Ya Allah, pimpinlah aku kejalan yang benar.

Semalam aku and dear Hubby went to Danau Kota. We bought 15 movies. Now we're so into HD movies, kebetulan kat Danau Kota, ada offer, buy 5 movies for RM55. Instead of buying 5, we bought 15. Antara movie yang dibeli, Star Wars 4, Star Wars 5, Pirates of the Carribean, Mamma Mia, Alien Vs Predator, Happy Feet dan lain2. Stars movies are for Iman. She's so into Star Wars now, it started with episode 6, then she wants 1, after watching 1, she wants episode 2, then 3, 4 and last sekali 5.

Happy Feet pulak dah jadi movie untuk Shariff. He loves it so much! Bila pasang je happy feet, dia akan start grooving, kepala pusing2, tangan pusing2. Luckily badan takleh gerak lagi sebab it's a bit difficult to move his body when he cant stand on his own yet. Ye la, dia kan baru 9 bulan, dengan badan yang montel macam tu, memang la susah sikit.

I miss him! Tadi baru hantar makcik ton and my sister Mas, to LRT station. They took a train back to East Coast tadi pukul 8.30pm. So, for the next few days, I'm not gonna cook. Yay! I'm happy. Dalam taknak masak, sempat jugak aku masak Gulai Kawah Daging. Pejah came over last nite, she said Shariff looks like baby mat salleh.. hehe

Trip to La Hot Spring, Jabi

Masa balik rumah mok kat Kuala Kubang, we decided to go to La Hot Spring. Kita orang nak pegi sendiri, tak berani sebab tempat tu gelap time malam. The spotlights are not on during weekdays, cuma weekends je on. Pastu kat situ takde tiang electric, semua electricity datang dari generator. Since time kita orang balik baru ni early pose, maka, sure lagi sunyi that place, ye la, orang sibuk nak ke masjid terawih.

Aku ajak Abe (adik aku yg no. 6) pegi, but Abe cakap he was too tired. Bila Abe cakap taknak pegi, Iman and Iffah pun taknak pegi jugak sebab takut. Last2, sebab kesian, Abe agreed to tag along. Fuh! Lega rasa. Kita orang pun bertolak ke Hot Spring tu. Sampai sana, jalan dah bertar. Before this, jalan cuma separuh je tar, yg lain jalan batu. Memang seksa la nak sampai kat situ.

Upon arrival, aku nampak takde kete langsung.. sob sob. Kebetulan masa kita orang pegi tu hujan, so maybe sebab tu takde orang kot. Kolam air panas tu tak panas sangat sebab hujan lebat, which was a blessing. Kalau hari tak hujan, nak rendam hujung ibu jari kaki pun tak sanggup sebab panas sangat. Malam tu was heaven, siap boleh berendam ala2 sauna gitu. I brought along Maggi Tomyam yang dah dimasak. Iman and Iffah syok je menikmati Maggi Tomyam tepi kolam air panas.

Nampak tak rantai yang Iman pakai tu? Tu rantai transformers yang dia menang from a gashapon machine. She was very happy about it. It cost me RM1.. huhuhu..

Abe pow maggi budak2 tu

Abe menunjukkan betapa macho nye dia sebab boleh duduk kat mata air panas tu. It was scorching hot during rain, I cant imagine mcm mana la kalau tak hujan, sure scalded my kulit kena air kat situ. Memang tabik spring la kat Abe.

Another Girls Nite Out

Dila is back in KL for a course. Apa lagi, aku tak melepaskan peluang ni untuk beramas mesra bersama Dila. Since sekarang ni bulan pose, so it's a bit difficult to bukak pose bersama Dila. Maka kita orang decided to have a coffee at Old Town Kopitiam kat tepi Giant Taman Permata.

Neli and Lily pun join sama. Lily brought along her 2 boys, aku with Iman & Iffah. Neli pun berteman jugak, with her baby dalam perut.. hehe. Cuma Dila sorang je takde teman, ye la, hubby dia kan jauh nun di negeri dibawah bayu. Eh! Sabah is the negeri dibawah bayu rite? Aku dah confused, sabah ke sarawak.

Plannya nak jumpa for an hour je. But kita orang duduk kat situ dari pukul 9.30pm sampai 12 midnite. Kesian kat Lily and Dila sebab dia org keje, aku & Neli tak kesah coz kita orang kan ladies in leisure.. hehe. Riuh rendah Old Town Kopitiam tu dengan suara kita org. Aku suruh my kids duduk kat another table. I thought meja kita orang dah riuh, meja my kids with Lily's kids lagi riuh rendah. Bila Iffah gelak, semua orang kat kopitiam tu pusing tengok Iffah. Agaknya dia org wonder, sapa la mak bapak budak2 ni, bulan2 pose boleh bagi anak2 lepak kat kopitiam, berdating some more, dah la bawah umur.. hehe. Kan Lily ada 2 boys, aku ada 2 girls, so it looked like they were having double date :D

Tadi bukak pose kat Kota Damansara kat rumah my brother Maulud. Sally, my dear friend, pun joined sama. Aku ler yang paksa dia untuk join sebab nak suruh dia rasa pulut cawang yang aku buat. hehe..

Errr... the truth is, aku lupa nak ambik gambar before iftar. By the time ingat nak snap gambar, makanan dah licin. Since it was a potluck party, I had to bring something. Aku buat Mee Goreng Basah, Apple Crumble and Pulut Cawang (again???). Yeah! I know, for the past few days aku dok makan pulut cawang. No, it's not leftover semlm, everyday aku make new Pulut Cawang sebab Pulut Cawang takleh simpan, kan guna kelapa parut. Kalau simpan, sah2 rasa masam.

Shariff kena abandoned dgn mak dia, maka aunty yang baik hati ni terpaksa ler jaga. Cuba korang tengok wall belakang kerusi yang aku duduk tu. Aku suka sgt2. I'm pretty sure Nora akan suka giler jugak sebab gambar bunga, luckily it's not pink in colour. Fuh! lega aku

Iman. Aku suruh dia posing sini sebab nak tunjuk the featured wall, aku suka gambar lampu ni. Mina (adik ipar aku yg Korean tu) cakap kat Korea byk dijual. Kat sini, ada jual jugak but at Mont Kiara Flea Market, which cost about RM35 and above per sticker.

Kuih Siput

Tiba2 teringin sangat2 nak makan kuih siput. Aku memang suka giler kuih siput dgn kuih bawang, cuma dah lama tak makan sebab tak sedap. Tadi setelah meng-google, maka aku jumpa satu recipe yang aku rasa, mcm jadi, kat kuali.com.my. Setelah dimodify ikut sesuka hati aku, maka terhasil la kuih siput yang bermacam2 size, kecik, besar, gemuk, kurus, panjang, pendek, hasil tangan anak2 dara aku berdua tu.

Oleh kerana kuih siput jugak la, aku sanggup beratur kat bagus tu more than 1/2jam. Mangkuk betul la bagus melawati tu, dah tau ramai giler orang beratur, cuma satu kaunter je yang bukak, dah la they only accept cash. Aku yang cuma nak bayar 2 papan kuih siput, kena jugak beratur panjang giler. Sakit hati betul. Gambar aku akan up lepas berbuka jap lagi along with lauk berbuka today.

Sorry la, quality gambar memang out, sebab digital camera dah nyawa2 ikan :)

Sogo Member's Day Preview

Sebut je Sogo Member's Day Sale, excited giler aku. Last week aku dalam brochure that the Sale will start from today til tomorrow. Normally kalau sale Sogo ni, aku memang takleh miss, sanggup aku redah lautan manusia, biarla ribut taufan yang melanda pun, aku akan tetap pergi. Pagi tadi, pukul 8am aku dah kejut Hubby. Punya la liat dia nak bangun coz dia tido lepas subuh tadi. Seksa aku nak kejut dia. Dah la tak sabar2 aku nak pegi sale tu. Finally almost 9am baru dia bangun, pukul 9.30am kita bertolak dari rumah, about 10.15am aku start shopping kat Sogo.

Hubby dah pesan, gi beli baju anak2 dulu. Guess where I went first?? Definitely kat tempat pinggan mangkuk. Ish! aku ni memang giler sungguh pinggan mangkuk. Kalau la pinggan mangkuk tu boleh dibuat rantai, gelang, subang, mau berpuluh2 pinggan mangkuk kat badan aku.. hehe. Tengah nak membayar lock & lock nya tupperware, tiba2 Hubby called, tanya "Sale ok tak kat children's department?". Aku tergagap jap nak jawab.

Four hours later, kaki aku bagai nak tercabut, spend almost 1.5k on baju, groceries etc, maka aku pun naik la ke tingkat 7, nak tukar voucher sogo tu coz for every RM100 u spend, u'll get RM10 voucher. Kumpul2 semua receipts aku, minus supermarket receipts, dapat la RM110 voucher. BUT.... ada BUT capital letter. Why? Coz bila aku naik nak tukar voucher, ada 300 orang depan aku nak tukar voucher jugak. Takyah ler aku buang masa nak beratur, aku pun terus call Ella, mintak dia tolong tukarkan voucher sebab dia nak shopping baju Thaqif kat Sogo. Lepas dah bagi all the receipts to Ella, kita org pun balik la. Sebelum sampai rumah, aku sempat detour, Sogo - Jusco AU2 - Kedai runcit fasa 6 - Gerai Air kelapa then baru balik rumah.

Aku sampai rumah almost 4pm. Since aku tak start masak lagi, aku kindda panic kejap. Dengan barang2 yang bertimbun nak kena kemas, pastu dengan nak prepare utk masak lagi. Adoi!! pening kepala aku. Ella akan berbuka posa kat rumah aku coz hubby dia bukak posa kat kem. Tadi Hubby dah requested few dish for berbuka. Dalam penat tu, terpaksa jugak masak. Alhamdulillah pukul 5.30pm dah siap.. hehe.. Lega aku. Cuma tinggal nak buat roti john je.

Then dalam pukul 6.45pm, aku pegi ke dapur nak siapkan roti john sementara tunggu Ella datang. Tengah basuh pinggan, tiba2 aku teringat kat member aku, As. Macamana la As agaknya, now that her mother in law baru keluar hospital, sempat ke dia masak coz I'm pretty sure dia kena jaga her MIL. Tiba-tiba, Ella bagi salam, dah sampai pun Ella rupanya. Then tiba2 jugak, aku dengar suara As. Terkejut kejap, mcm ada kuasa telepati pulak. Aku ingatkan Ella yang telepon As, rupanya tak. As datang sebab dia nak hantar Mee Goreng kat rumah aku, lega aku dapat jumpa As. Kita orang ni nama je berjiran, rumah tak sampai pun 5 minutes away, but jarang jumpa.

Tadi sebelum balik, Ella sempat tunjuk hasil lembutangan dia. This is part of her jahit manik, atas baju raya dia. Tak sangka aku, berbakat jugak kawan aku ni :)

For the first time this ramadhan, aku berbuka posa kat luar. hehe.. bukan kat restoran, but at a dear fren's house, Nisa. Aku kenal Nisa tak sampai 2 tahun, tu pun dalam facebook coz she happens to be kawan2 dengan schoolmates aku yg study kat UUM dulu, but bila kita orang jumpa for the first time 2 mths ago, kita orang berborak mcm dah lama kenal. Alhamdulillah at this age, Allah kenalkan aku dengan seorang yang baik hati dan lemah lembut macam Nisa. Even adik aku, Mas, pun cakap yang Nisa is so kind. Thank you Nisa :)

Tadi masa berbuka, ada 3 orang guests besides aku, Mas and the kids. One of them was Roger. Riuh rendah rumah Nisa dengan gelak kita orang. Ni ala2 gelak penyamun dalam cerita "Enam Jahanam".. hahahhaha.. best jugak bukak posa without the hubbies. We, the girls, boleh tunjuk belang, takyah nak berlakun malu .. hehehe
