Melaka Trip - Part 1

Hubby was contemplating whether to go on this trip or to stay in Kuantan. He was away in Kuantan since Monday last week, and the trip to Malacca will be on Thursday. But due to persistent pleading and nagging from the kids, hubby had to relent and forgo his initial plan to stay in Kuantan until weekend.

For me, I dunno.. I dont really favour Melaka. Panas giler, pastu too many people, sampai takleh nak jalan, traffic jam teruk. But then, I dont have a choice. This trip is a family reunion on my hubby's side of the family. K.Nor's (Hubby's 2nd sister) son, Luqman graduated from college. K.Nor wants everyone to attend the graduation ceremony. Dia siap book apartment kat Pantai Puteri awal2 lagi. Dua apartment for 4 families. K.Ta (Hubby's 3rd sister) datang sorang je coz her hubby has to stay and hantar her kids to school. Kat Terengganu, on sunday kan sekolah. Furthermore, K.ta's daughter, Sarah, is going to sit for SPM, kena la study and gi tuition.

K.Mei pun datang dgn Zulaikha je. Abang Zainol was busy with the budget on Friday, takleh datang. The first apartment tu, aku and K.Mei duduk. The second apartment tu, Suhaila (Hubby's youngest sister) and her family ie her hubby, and 3 daughters, pastu K.Ta, MIL, Che Boh (Hubby's aunt) and Abang Choh (Hubby's cousin). Memang full house la the second apartment tu. Phew! nasib baik aku duduk apartment lain.. hehehe.. teruk betul aku ni. Tak tau pesal, bila anak2 dah besar, aku value pulak suasana yang senyap dan tenang. Teruk betul la aku ni :D

Kita orang bertolak from KL pukul 9.30pm selepas aku dah siap baked my french bread rolls... hehehe. Sempat lagi aku buat roti. We went to picked up K.Mei and Zulaikha kat Bangsar, then off to Melaka. Alhamdulillah K.Mei bawak her GPS, it helped us a lot during our Melaka trip. That reminds me, I need to download Gamin and ask my sister, Mas, to crack it.. hahahha.. Free ma... If not, need to pay more than RM1k for the programme.

Nak cari our apartment punya la susah coz it is not in Gamin, cuma ada Pantai Puteri je. We all stopped kat kedai tomyam tepi jalan and asked for direction, but the girl yg jadi waiter tu cakap "Sayo oghe Thailand, tak tau kawase ni". Aduh! ramainya orang luar yang bekerja dan operate restaurant2 kat Malaysia ni. Alhamdulillah, last2 jumpa jugak. Mula2 kind of excited sebab tengok apartment macam ok. Pastu tengok2 tak ok. The lobby memang nampak nice, bila naik kat apartment tu, punya la hapak bau, dengan taik burung merata2. Some apartments on different floors, takde pun lampu corridor, nampak mcm abandon je. Seram sungguh aku. Pastu ada banyak pintu2 yang terbukak and ada few units tu boleh nampak tilam2 disandarkan kat dinding. Argh!!! macam cerita hantu je.

Aku nak jalan sorang2 pun takut. Bila masuk in our apartment, rimas giler tengok. It was clean, but the smell, makes me wanna puke. Dah la tu, aircond pulak tak function, it was very warm. Menyesal giler aku tak bawak selimut, cadar and sarung bantal sendiri coz memang tak lalu nak duduk apartment tu. But apa nak buat, since aku takde bawak apa2, terpaksa la jugak tido beralaskan cadar yg ada. We cant move out coz K.Nor had paid for both apartment for 2 nights stay. *sigh*... nak buat macam mana, terpaksa la jugak pejam mata, and terima je la apa yang ada. I will definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone.
