Kevin's Suprised Bday Party

I wanted to blog about this, tapi manjang lupa. Watie (Kev's wife) called me few days before the event, cakap pasal nak buat the suprised birthday party. She invited close friends and hubby happens to be one of Kev's close friend way back in Kalamazoo. Initially hubby cakap dia maybe takleh datang sebab dia nak pegi Terengganu that weekend. But I told hubby, bukannya selalu dia kena pegi, why not, for once, buat kawan dia happy. The set back was that masa tu  we all tengah berdiet, dia risau that dia takleh nak tahan his appetite bila tengok makanan kat Tarbush tu. Yes, we went to Tarbush again. This time kat Tarbush Bukit Bintang. Watie asked us to be there at 12.30noon. The birthday boy sampai pukul 1.20pm. The kids dah kelaparan.

 

Iffah dah tak sabar menahan lapar

"Mama, bila food nak sampai ni??"

Kebetulan pulak Iman ada kokurikulum activity in the morning, so masa we all sampai kat Tarbush tu she was famished. Ni first time we went to Tarbush Bukit Bintang. I didnt know that there is no more KL Plaza. Masa aku tengah lepak dalam Tarbush tu, nampak construction is going on at the old KL Plaza building. Tak sure samada dia org refurbish the place or buat apa. Bagus jugak coz KL Plaza tu dah tersangat la tua.

I find Tarbush Bukit Bintang a bit claustrophobic for my liking. The ceiling is a bit too low, so bila berdiri, walaupun aku ni pendek, rasa mcm ceiling nak jatuh atas kepala je. Pastu the seatings arrangement pun too close to one another. Takde privacy. According to Kev, Tarbush kat situ caters mainly for the Middle East tourists during summer. I dont think I wanna go there again. Dah ler susah nak parking, pastu sempit pulak tu. Aku suka layout kat Sunway.

The food!! Cheese crackers kat atas tu sedap sangat2. Even their humus pun sedap :)

Aku up my status kat FB regarding this party, tiba2 K.Noresh (my senior kat SSP) tulis comment kata that she was at the same party and memang ada pun gambar K.Noresh terselit dalam banyak-banyak photo yg hubby snap. Dia kata patutla dia tengok aku mcm kenal je. Ye la, dah more than 20 years tak jumpa, sure macam ingat2 lupa. Dah la dulu aku pakai cermin mata tebal dan besar, ala2 bra gitu.. hahaha.. Memang patut la K.Noresh tak kenal. Aku pulak kat majlis orang, suka tengok orang je, tak rajin nak beramah mesra. With the kids ikut sama, lagi la susah nak beramah mesra dengan orang lain. Sorry K.Noresh sebab tak berkesempatan untuk bersembang. InsyaAllah next time kita jumpa lagi.Punya la kecik dunia sekarang ni kan..
