HPV Vaccine

Mommies yang ada anak umur 14 tahun this year will know that since last year, our government has made it compulsory for 13 year old in schools to get the HPV vaccine. Iman took hers last year. In total, ada 3 jab for the whole year. Iman cakap it was very painful. Some of her classmates siap nangis. To iman, that was nothing sebab dia dah biasa kena cucuk since kecik.

This year, it's iffah's turn to get her jab. Last week, on 23rd Jan, iffah took her first dose. Unlike iman, it was quite a bad experience for iffah. Balik from school, muka iffah started to look puffy and she had small rashes all over her body. Iffah complaint of body ache, and malam tu she started to experience headache and she was also feverish. She also complaint of difficulty in breathing.  Selepas aku consult with en. google, rupanya iffah falls in the very rare category.

A doctor friend suggested to monitor her over the weekend. Pastu on Monday, aku tengok muka iffah still bengkak. I called an oncologist friend. She suggested to immediately bawak iffah to a nearby clinic. She said I should have brought iffah to a clinic on Thursday lagi. Sigh... dah terlambat. Anyway, iffah was given steroid to help with her allergy. Alhamdulillah hari ni dah ok. Last nite I lodged a report on the adverse reaction of HPV vaccine to BPFK and emailed it to Mr Tan Ann Ling, the Director of National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau. This morning I received a reply from him and a phone call from his department. That was fast!! Thank you Mr Tan Ann Lin for the immediate action. According the officer from the department, the vaccine given to Iman and the vaccine given to iffah is manufactured by different company. Maybe sebab tu ada effect pada Iffah kot coz Iffah jenis sensitive to foreign allergen.

FRIM on 14th January

One of the few photos that we took. Mula2 plan nak pegi FRIM with few of my sspian friends tapi last minute, ramai yang cancelled. So tinggal la kita orang berempat je. Dah lama tak berjalan, rasa macam nak pengsan.. We managed to scale the small bukit leading to the canopy walk. Kita orang tak beli pun tiket nak naik canopy walk tu. But along the way, masa tengah semput2 panjat bukit tu, tiba2 ada a group of uni students turun, and tanya kita org, whether kita org ada tiket tak. When we said no, dia orang terus bagi their tickets. Dia org tak sempat nak naik canopy walk coz they have urgent things to attend to. Alhamdulillah... Tiket free lagi.. hehe

Leisure Sunday

Hubby cakap takyah masak coz I wasnt feeling well. Since the girls tido rumah their grandparents, maka kita orang pagi2 lagi dah keluar berdua. Bila dah biasa eat clean, makan unhealthy food membuatkan aku sakit perut. Hubby had nasik lemak and I ordered lontong. I ate only 1/4 of it.. huhuhu... missed clean food!

We decided to spent the afternoon kat Pavillion. And Raina wanted to ikut.  The girls bila dengar nak pegi Pavillion memang suka sangat2 sebab they can go to Daiso.

I shouldnt be drinking this due to my chronic gastric, but I couldnt resist :((

Sunday

As usual, aku started my Sunday with cooking nasik lemak. The girls slept kat rumah baba and nenek. Cuti sekolah or weekends sekarang, the girls will be kat rumah my parents leaving abah and mama honeymoon berdua kat rumah. Memang best bila anak2 dah besar! :D

After having our breakfast, we head on to Subang. Lunch was at Chili's Empire. Alang2 dah pegi area tu, we all singgah kat Chili's.

After lunch, we went to Plaza Masalam. First time sampai Plaza Masalam. In Syaa Allah, I would love to attend more of these forum. Memang best. Cuma the set back was that ada budak2 yang menjerit2 and main kat belakang without the mothers saying anything. Memang frustrating la. Kalau nak pegi majlis ilmu, bawak small kids, make sure bawak things that can entertain them. If they play too loud, let them chill outside kejap coz it really mengganggu orang lain. Alhamdulillah Iman and Iffah masa kecik2 dulu were well behaved. Aku bersyukur sangat2.

Iman wanted to go out with Elsa, her bff. So aku pun terpaksa la temankan both of them keluar. We went out the whole family and lepak kat Festival Mall Danau Kota. I bought Dr Cafe vouchers on Groupon. RM80 for only RM36. The girls had Strawberries smoothies and sandwich.

Day out with the girls

Normally, on weekends, I would stay home. Tapi last weekend, aku keluar dengan the girls. Zuleika came for sleepover. So Sunday tu we went out. As usual, tempat lepak favourite adalah Chili's. Tq Warque bagi kita orang makan free! It was a great bonding time with Layla, Matju and their broods.

After the session in Chili's Empire, we send Zuleika off to Lake Club for her aikido class and went to KLCC. I met Dila, a friend whom I havent met for more than 5 years. Kebetulan anak Dila yang sulung belajar language kat British Council. Kita orang lepak kat San Francisco Coffee KLCC. Now they are having promotion, buy 1 free 1 if you have cimb credit card or debit card.

My baby is 12!

That was 2 days ago. The best part is she doesn't have to go to school on that day. Why? MC! Still demam and doctor bagi MC sampai jumaat.

Mula2 nak buat bday party for her coz she wanted to invite few of her classmates. This year kan tahun akhir dia kat sekolah rendah. Tu yang beria nak invite Kawan. But as usual, bila long weekend, we will be in trg. Here we are, in KT. Birthday Iman kena postponed to Saturday next week.

I did bake a red velvet cake for her, buatkan Puding roti, dadar daging and meehoon goreng. Just a simple menu coz I was pressed for time. I have a "baby" that I have to look after remember. Yes, baby tua itu. Grrrrr...

Wordless Wednesday. Eh! Baru tuesday

Dah update the title baru perasan hari ni hari selasa. Iman is running a fever. Actually dia demam since Saturday. Aku dah bawak pegi klinik on Saturday, but she's still feverish. Semlm she was on mc, today pukul 8am she called from school cakap sakit kepala. I told her, stay in class, tido. Then at 10am cikgu Iman called, cakap Iman sakit kepala teruk.

Rasa bersalah jugak sebab she called earlier, but aku tak immediately react to it. Tadi bawak dia pegi klinik again and her platelet is 140. Esok kena ambik darah again. Sian anak mama.

Nuri is 4!

Nuri is my nephew yang ke, errmm ... Tak sure no brapa sebab ramai sangat cucu parents aku. Yang surenya, this year besides Nuri, Shariff, Akbar and Kashfi pun will be celebrating their 4th birthday this year.

And this year jugak, abah aku akan dapat 3 lagi cucu. Sadly, it's not going to be from me. Takpe la, takde rezeki lagi. Allah maha mengetahui what is best for me.

Piyee off to Japan

Aku bangun as early 5am today. I ha to rush sebab nak kena pick up the girls and hubby kat hospital then terus ke KLIA. MIL kat rumah, that's what I had to sleep kat rumah last nite. Kalau MIL takde, memang I would lepak kat hospital with hubby and kids.

Piyee will be studying in tokyo for the next 2 years. Bye bye Piyee, study smart! Moga sentiasa dibawah pelindungan Allah. Oh ya! Piyee is hubby's eldest :)

Red Day at Kenny Roger's

My sister, ayu, tagged me on the Red Day poster. Makcik ni pun apa lagi, excited yg terover2 la nak pegi. The truth is, I'm not that fond of Kenny Roger's food. I think it's a bit pricey. Furthermore boleh masak sendiri kat rumah kan, takyah la buang duit makan kat kedai.

We went there at about 2pm. The girls had to ponteng KAFA coz memang tak sempat nak antar dia org. Shariff and ibu dia joined us. Aduhai shariff! Memang stress aku. Time nak balik, dia takmau ikut his ibu, nak ikut mama. Aku pulak memang letih sgt coz the nite before I slept at 4am! Memang tak larat nak melayan shariff.

Kemaman Trip

On Wednesday, we went to Kemaman. Hubby ada meeting, kita orang ditinggalkan di zoo kemaman. Masa kita orang sampai, dah almost 3.30pm. The zoo closing time is 5pm! Grr... kejap je masa tinggal nak masuk the zoo. Tickets for adult is priced at RM10 each and children RM7. From the entrance to the center, a buggy ride awaits the visitors. Lepas tu kena jalan kaki sendiri. Letih giler berjalan kat zoo tu. Dah la hujan, jalan memang penuh dengan lopak air.

Mula2 aku ingatkan zoo tu besar, rupanya, sangat kecik. Aku suka the tigers kat situ. Sangat2 sihat and cantik. But the animals semua tido. I guess the gloomy weather makes everybody sleepy termasuk la aku. Masa kita orang jalan2 kat zoo tu, cuma ada 3 other families je. Yer la, sapa la yang gile nak jalan2 dalam hujan, with jalan yang berlumpur. Err.. aku termasuk dalam orang giler tu.. hehe..

At about 4.30pm, we're done! Sejam je berjalan2. Sebenarnya aku nak balik lagi awal. It was almost void of visitors, some jalan very quiet and secluded, memang menakutkan for 3 orang pompuan jelita untuk berjalan2. Dah la ramai construction workers coz there is an on going construction kat zoo tu.

At 4.30pm, kita orang dah terpacak depan zoo. Hubby tak habis meeting lagi. He dropped us at the zoo and went to town for a meeting. Luckily I managed to get a cab from Kemaman Teksi. The ride from the zoo to town cost me RM15, which is not bad la. We made a stop at HaiPeng Kopitiam, makan2. Ingatkan lepas makan2, hubby sure dah habis meeting and ready to pick us up, tengok2, tak habis jugak meeting dia. Then we walked to A&W, and lepas kat situ sampai la hubby datang at about 7.30pm. Lama giler!! Luckily the girls tak complaint.

 This suspension bridge is built over the lions' and tigers' den. Aku tak tau pun. Masa tengah jalan atas bridge tu aku bau bangkai yg sangat kuat. Bila turun, baru tau, bawah tu ada rimau and singa!!

Iffah, camera shy this time sebab dia pakai baju tido!! Grrr.... We picked them up kat rumah their aunt, and Iffah was still wearing baju tido. Since hubby was in a hurry, tak sempat balik tukar baju.

A Day at Bookxcess

We went to rumah K.Mei semalam. Takde pun niat nak pegi bookxcess. Tapi bila dah sampai rumah K.Mei, tengok jam, baru pukul 12 noon, rasa macam rugi la pulak kalau tak gi mana2. So, K.Mei pun ajak pegi Bookxcess. Kalau duduk kat bookxcess, seharian pun takpe. I love going there. I can sit and read the whole day kat situ.

Sampai je kat Amcorp Mall, rasa nak demam kejap tengok parking yang penuh. Aduhai! Aku terlupa kejap yang Amcorp Mall on weekends is always crazy. The flea market kat ground floor is an attraction. Every weekend, penuh dengan manusia because of the flea market. Luckily it didnt take me long to find a parking spot. Kita orang lepak kat situ sampai pukul 3pm.

At 2pm, ada story telling for children kat situ. Iffah wanted to join the session. Iman and Zuleika were like bleh.. Dia org cakap it's for small kids. And true enuff, they were the only young adults there. Hahahaha.. The rest, kanak2 ribena yang berumur bawah 6 tahun. Terkulat2 muka dia orang duduk kat tengah2 tu.

Terawih - Day 2, Puasa - Day 1

A trip to Subang..

Semalam, for the first time in many many years, I decided to take public transport to Empire Subang. I parked my car kat LRT Wangsa Maju, then take the LRT to KL Sentral. Naik LRT tu dah biasa, sebab senang walaupun hubby prefers to drive. Cuma taking commuter to Subang Jaya adalah sesuatu yang tak penah aku buat. The girls were very excited. Mula2, Iman taknak ikut sebab dia takmau naik public transport. But aku paksa jugak.. hehe.. mak yang kejam.

Once dah sampai KL Sentral, both of them dah excited giler. Tak penah seumur hidup dia org naik commuter. Ni first time aku naik coach wanita. Rasa bangga pulak naik coach tu. And for the first time, aku salute the government and KTM for initiating the move. Tak payah la aku risau anak2 dara aku tu naik coach commuter bersesak2 dengan lelaki.

The best part is that, the police memang check every coach, to ensure takde lelaki yang terlepas masuk ke coach perempuan. Aku was quite impressed. Biar betul.. Msia ke ni? hehhe.. Selalunya ada je benda yang aku tak puas hati dengan the government.

Sampai kat Subang Jaya, kita orang menapak sampai ke Empire. I asked Iman to skip instead of walking. She didnt know how to skip!! I was like... what?? How did I miss that? I didnt know that she didnt know how to skip. Nasib baik la Iffah ada, dengan suka hatinya tunjuk kat kakak dia how to skip. I asked Iman why didnt she skip. Guess what she said? Dia kata, nampak gedik. DUH! 

We celebrated Sally's birthday kat Chili's. Thank you Warque for free meals. hahahha.. sian Warque, manjang kena belanja pompuan ini. Lepas makan kat Chili's, kita orang balik with my sister, Ayu. Dia drive and parked her car kat Empire. Kita orang kena fetched Mas, kat her office in Shah Alam. Pastu, terjadi la kejadian yang tidak diingini. Grrr.. I think I'll have to write about that tomorrow sebab nak tulis dengan panjang lebar. :P

Daiso & Royal Chulan

Ha! Ni la akibatnya bila tak baca details betul2. I was supposed to meet up with Alina (who's living in Paris and on holiday now in Msia) kat Royal Chulan. But I ended up at Royal Bintang, thus, missing my date with Alina. Huwaaaaaaaaaaaa... I am actually quite a detail person. Before going out, I'll make sure I know where I'm heading and rarely make this kind of blunder. But I guess, once in a blue moon, things like this happens.. huhuhuhu.. I'm sorry Alina.. Hopefully hari ni I dah tak sesat.

I dont know why I thought she's staying at Royal Bintang. Padahal, rasanya, dia dah banyak kali cakap yang dia duduk kat Royal Chulan. Royal Chulan and Royal Bintang is at the opposite side of town. Dah ler aku janji dengan dia at 6.30pm. Memang impossible la nak get to Royal Chulan once dah ada kat area The Curve tu. In the end, aku lepak kat cafe Ikea, makan karipap and minum kopi with Sally. Luckily Sally ada kat area tu.

Since dah sampai kat the Curve tu, aku terus melencong ke Daiso. I've never been to Daiso Msia before. Dulu masa pegi Tokyo, penah la few times aku pegi Daiso Japan. Oleh kerana aku rambang mata, I was RM80 poorer last nite. Tu pun aku dah jadi pembeli berhemah. Kalau ikutkan hati, nak je aku borong semua barang dalam Daiso tu. I managed to grab the mayo bottle yang ada 3 lubang, it was the last one on the shelf. Phew! Rezeki aku. Boleh la aku buat roti jala hari ni.
