Bubur Pulut Hitam

I'm home alone. Iman and Iffah ada kat rumah mok. They insisted going there sebab nak main dgn Dzia and Nuri. Hubby pulak keluar for a meeting. Setelah bosan melayan main Dinner Dash 5, baru teringat nak update blog. Yesterday tak sempat nak update sebab by the time balik rumah dah pukul 12mlm.

Semalam seharian keluar. Lepas hantar Iffah to school at about 1.30pm, I went to Bangsar, ambik K.Mei and Zulaikha. We were to meet To' Puan Rosita, the author of buku Kulit Manis kat rumah dia at Jalan Gurney. The appointment was supposed to be at 3pm, but we arrived there almost 4.30pm sebab kita orang detour. The truth is, I dont like to be late for appointment, but K.Mei wanted to eat dulu before pegi rumah To' Puan Rosita. Dah la masa berlepas from rumah K.Mei, it was already 2.30pm. I had to wait for K.Mei to siap dulu. *sigh*...

Lepas lunch kat Wangsa Maju, we went to Jalan Gurney. It was raining cats and dogs. I could hardly see the cars in front of me. Dah la tu, angin ribut kuat pulak tu. Alhamdulillah we arrived at To' Puan's house safe and sound. She served nasi himpit with sambal ikan, karipap ikan, Qasidah and Lompat Tikam. I prefer my mum's lompat tikam. I think my mum made the best lompat tikam ever! hehe.. and hubby also agrees to that. To' Puan Rosita is a very nice lady, sedara tu my hubby. As posted previously dalam one of my entry, her book is about Terengganu's heritage. Kalau tengok gambar cover buku tu, it featured gambar yang diambil oleh arwah Sultan Ismail about 50 years ago. Recipe2 dalam buku tu pun, recipe lama2. Some of the recipes were contributed by hubby's aunts, Che Hab (my mentor dalam belajar masakan istana) and Che Aroh.

Balik dari rumah To' Puan Rosita, we went back to Melawati dulu sebab Iffah wanted to play with Zulaikha. K.Mei stayed kat rumah aku sampai pukul 8.30pm, then I sent her home. Dah sampai rumah K.Mei, ingat nak duduk kejap je, tengok2, pukul 12mlm baru balik. Best duduk berborak dengan K.Mei, tak sedar masa berlalu. K.Mei told me that K.Ta, hubby's 3rd kakak, just bought a Beetle. huwaaaa... I want that too... Masa aku mintak hubby belikan my fossil handbag, dah rasa bersalah giler. K.Ta pulak mintak hubby dia belikan Beetle for her. *sigh*... hubby dia boleh afford it, ok la. Kalau aku mintak from my hubby, mau dia jegil bijik mata dia sampai terkeluar.. hahahahha..

Anyway, remember pulut hitam yang aku beli kat KK hari tu? Aku dah masak menjadi bubur pulut hitam..Sedap!! aku suka sangat pulut yg aku beli tu sebab dia gemuk2 dan gebu
