Kota Kinabalu - 3rd Day

Malam second day kita orang kat Sabah, we had dinner kat Pine Resort. Lin managed to get breakfast and dinner for the 1 night stay for only RM160, which was a really good deal.  Alhamdulillah ayah Lin happens to be on board of Kinabalu Park trustee.. hehe.. menggunakan kuasa crony! hahahaha..

Iman and Malik kat gazebo, Pine Resort.

Dinner was not bad, suprisingly. Well, for orang semenanjung, the dishes sangat la tawar. But at least, the dishes served tak berenang dalam minyak. Phew! kalau tak, bertambah la fat content dalam badan aku ni. After dinner, we just lepak kat verandah, the kids pulak sibuk main nyorok2 mlm2 buta. Then I went to have coffee with Hubby and Faisal kat cafe at Pine Resort.  I cooked maggi for the kids that nite coz the kids were so hungry. Ye la, we had dinner early, by 9pm, the kids dah lapar balik. Oh ya! I bought coffee Tenom. Kan aku ada obsession towards coffee.. hehe. I love kopi Tenom sebab rasa dia mcm brazillian coffee, but minus the headache. Selalunya kalau aku minum instant coffee, aku akan sakit kepala. But this kopi tenom, memang tak menyakitkan kepala langsung! Macam iklan la pulak :D

mount kinabalu is playing hide and seek with us. tak nampak the peaks. :(

The girls, always together..
Pagi on the 3rd day tu, I woke up at 6am. Faisal cakap, usually, pukul 6am, boleh nampak mount kinabalu. I woke up the kids and hubby, untuk tunggu the clouds to clear up. Sadly, as yesterday, tunggu punya tunggu, sampai pukul 8am, cuma nampak peak sikit je. Huwaaa... takde rezeki betul aku nak tengok gunung. After breakfast, kita orang siap2 untuk check out. The first place that we visited pagi tu was Tagal Sungai Moroli, Kampung Luanti (yang ni FOC for us sebab ayah Lin .. hehehe) Kampung Luanti ni famous sangat for the fish spa. Dia orang guna ikan sungai, untuk massage kaki and badan orang. Ada charges untuk rendam kaki saje and rendam the whole body. Before kita orang enter the fish spa, we were given a brief introduction of what tagal is all about by En. Jeffri. A guide was provided to assist us on the do's and the dont's while using the fish spa. Aku rasa mcm nak pengsan kegelian bila ikan2 besar datang urut kaki aku. Tak sanggup aku nak tahan geli..Fuh! kalau ingat, rasa meremang bulu telinga!!! For some people, they really enjoy it. But this fish spa thing, is definitely NOT for me!

These four kids drove me nuts!

Singgah kejap kat Sabah Tea, tapi takde apa2 yang menarik. Frust je!

Tagal Sg. Moroli. En. Jeffri tengah bercerita..

Besar tak ikan2 kat fish spa ni?? menakutkan!
After the fish spa, we went to Poring Hot Spring, Ranau. Aku wasn't too excited about the hotspring sebab kat Kampung La, Jabi, lagi best. We didnt make a stop kat hot spring, instead we walk passed the butterfly farm to the canopy walk. We had to walk up steep steps about 400m to the stairs that lead to the canopy walk. Aku ni dah la penakut bila duduk tempat tinggi. All together, ada 4 bridges. The 1st one tu, aku dah ketar lutut. By the time aku jalan on the 4th one, aku dah menyesal tak sudah coz halfway across, tiba2 the bridge tu rasa mcm stark naked sebab kat bawah dah takde pokok2, cuma ada gaung yang about 50m high. Rasa mcm nak patah balik je. Memang aku takan go for the canopy walk ever again! Iffah nangis lepas turun dari canopy walk tu. She was dead scared! According to Lin, kat Maliau Basin, the canopy walk maybe triple the height of the ones kat Poring.

Poring!

Tengok, betapa jauhnya bat cave tu..

Beautiful kan?

Iffah and Malik.. a rare scene. Usually Iffah and Sophia, Malik and Iman.
Kat Poring ada bat cave and two waterfalls. Initially we wanted to go to the bat cave, tapi on the way to bat cave, kita orang singgah kat Kipungit Waterfall. It was so beautiful! Air kat situ bersih sangat and it was extremely cold. Mula-mula the kids takmau mandi, sebab too cold, tapi lepas dah berendam for few minutes, terus semua terjun mandi. We spent about 1 hour kat situ. Lepas dah puas mandi, the kids wanted to go to bat cave. Malik (anak Lin and Faisal) siap nangis lagi. Isk! aku memang takmau pegi coz the path looks dangerous for kids, takde railing. Menakutkan! Furthermore, kita orang pun dah lambat coz plannya nak balik before 6pm so that aku sempat masak dinner.

Sophia and Iffah sunbathing..

On the way to waterfront.
Alhamdulillah we reached KK at 6.30pm. Aku drop the kids, terus pegi pasar kat waterfront with hubby and Faisal. This time aku beli udang, sotong and ayam. Since Malik tak makan seafood, kena la masak extra dish for him. The menu for dinner was Udang Goreng Tepung, Sambal Tumis Sotong, Ayam Goreng Berempah and Sayur Campur, cooked by me! hehe.. rasa nak tercabut tumit kaki aku. Dila came over with her hubby Rizal. Initially dia nak ajak pegi dinner, but since kita orang dah dinner, terus tak jadi keluar. Kita orang just lepas kat rumah Lin and Faisal.

will upload gambar in a short while

  1. Hello Sizuka, Wow, I love the pics here, well taken.
But never seen, nor experience that fish spa? Ta'geli ke?
I used to travel very often to Sabah, Sarawak....KK, Kuching, Bintulu, Sibu etc....and love the various peoples there, not to mention the food.

Can see you having fun there.
By the way, you have beautiful eyes....if date a lady with eyes like this, habis cherita, kaki pun lembek, nama mak pun lupa, ha ha ha.
You have a nice day and simpan satu lagu dalam hati, Lee.

  2. Hi Uncle Lee,

Thank you for visiting. When was the last time you visited Sabah? I think tourism sabah started promoting fish spa at sg moroli only recently. I dont really like it, coz I'm the penggeli type, cant stand the feeling of the fishes toothless bite. I love Sabah coz it's different. The next time I go to Sabah, I wanna take a hike to Maliau Basin.

My eyes? I think that's how my hubby fell in love with me, dari mata turun ke hati.. hahah.. but suprisingly he remembered his mom's name the 1st time we met .. hehe
