Gingerbread Bears

Bila cuti sekolah, aku memang pening. Pening nak pikir apa nak buat dengan the kids. Dah ler roadtax kete takleh nak renew lagi sebab ada problem dengan insurance (insurance pun takleh nak renew sebab saman tu.. huhuhu). Today, hubby took EL. I used his car. The plan was to go watch Rapunzel : A Tangled Tale (for the 2nd time), pastu bila pegi kat TGV Wangsa Walk, tengok2 tiket semua dah habis. Maybe jugak sebab on Wednesday kan tiket flat rate, RM9. So berebut la agaknya orang pegi tengok. Frust sungguh!

My mistake was that aku tak booked online. I should have! Takyah la aku beratur panjang2 then bila sampai turn aku,  tak dapat beli tiket sebab sold out. Kesian Zuleika. At least Iman and Iffah dah tengok. Since tak jadi tengok wayang, I brought the girls pegi main kat arcade there. I gave each of them RM10 to spend. Lepas habis duit, we went to Vitacare. My sister, Mas, wanted Rin sebab she feels very lethargic lately. Her problem is low blood pressure. Since now dia tengah confinement, risau jugak kalau pengsan ke apa ke while holding her baby girl. But masa aku pegi tadi, Farik (hubby Zana), takde la pulak. So aku tak beli sebab tak dapat discount.. hahahaha.. the cheapskate me always look for bargain :D

Lepas keluar from Vitacare, I saw Cold Storage booth selling cookies and sweets kat depan Vitacare tu. Then I saw Crayola Gingerbread Bears kit. I decided to make gingerbread with the girls. The girls were very excited. Finally they get to do something different today. Masuk je kete, Iffah terus bukak the box.

Tergerak hati nak tengok the ingredients list. Lupa nak check masa kat Cold Storage. All the ingredients takde benda yang meragukan except for the jelly candies which have gelatine. Dah ler made in China. Ishk! meragukan sungguh. Balik rumah, terus ambik kotak nak baca the instructions. Tengok2, the instructions leaflet hilang. Grrr... punya la marah aku kat the kids. Alhamdulillah setelah digoogle dengan penuh perasaan, last2 jumpa jugak instructions kat amazon.com. Phew!

The kit from Cold Storage which cost about RM20+

 The cookies made by Iman.

 Iffah busy decorating hers.

Iffah's bear.
