Seafood Pizza

Pizza lagi? hehe.. ni la akibatnya bila anak2 dan suami takde kat rumah. I cooked this weekend baru ni. Tak tau nak masak apa, dah kehabisan idea. Bila bukak peti, tengok ada lagi about 1kg of mozarella yang mesti dihabiskan. So, aku pun start la menguli dough. Well, bukan aku yg uli dough, but Mr. Kenwood yang bersusah payah tolong uli. Aku cuma tolong campak2 mana2 yang patut je. :D

The dough boleh buat 2 bijik large pizza. Aku buatkan sebijik untuk rumah, sebijik lagi untuk adik aku Mas bawak balik. Tak larat weh nak menghabiskan 2 bijik sorang2. Dah ler takde sesapa kat rumah except Makcik Ton and adik aku, Ayu.

Aku rasa buat seafood pizza is a bit tricky. Aku googled few recipes, and in the end, came up with my own after some reading. This pizza leceh sikit sebab kena buat the bechamel sauce dulu. But the same sauce, aku tambah tomyam paste and buat Thai Seafood Pizza! Sedap!! But, I'll update the recipe nanti ye. The initial plan was nak campur calamari and prawn, tapi alih2 prawn aku dah habis. Tinggal calamari je, sedih sungguh..



Seafood Pizza
Use dough recipe from here.

500gm of mixed seafood
2 large onion - sliced
2 green chilies - sliced
a bunch of cilantro - chopped
2 large tomatoes - seeded, diced
2 tbs olive oil
4 clove garlic - finely sliced
250gm mozarella - shredded

bechamel sauce
1 cup of milk
2 tbs butter
2 tbs flour
1 tsp chicken stock
salt & pepper

method
1. Bechamel Sauce : Mula2, cairkan butter dalam pan, then masukkan flour, goreng sekejap hingga kekuningan, remove from heat, add milk, stir, panaskan kembali. Stir constantly, sampai pekat. add salt, pepper and chicken stock. kalau sauce terlalu pekat, campurkan sedikit air.

2. panaskan pan, masukkan olive oil, goreng bawang yang telah di hiris. Goreng sehingga garing, remove from heat.

3. guna kuali yang sama, masukkan seafood, goreng sehingga 3/4 masak, add salt & pepper, remove from heat.

4. Canai dough, sapukan bechamel sauce sebagai base pizza. tabur seafood, bawang, cili hijau, diced tomatoes. tabur mozarella cheese dan akhir sekali, sprinkle cilantro. bakar selama 25-40 minutes.

    btw, mlm td i buat prawn n pineapple pizza jek..errr i dah kehabisan idea nk buat pizza cemana lagi dah..rumah i ni skali seminggu mesti kena buat pizza sbb hasya memang hantu pizza tp hasya punya senang je sbb i cuma taruk tomato n cheese jek ;-)

    Yeayyyyyyyyyyyyy.... dah boleh.

    Pizza tu something new to me sbb guna bechamel sauce (tak guna tomato paste cam biasa). Mesti sedap!

    Sama macam CS, I blom penah buat pizza topping guna bechamel sauce. I used bechamel sauce for my lobster, though.
    Yes, mesti sedap fusion topping ni, ala-ala Thai lagik! Meh, CS kita try!

    I pun tak penah buat pizza guna bechamel sauce. tak sangka sedap. but make sure ada green chilis, it will make it tastebetter :D
