Grilled Lamb Chop

Lamb leg that I bought kat Pasar Keramat last week still ada lagi dalam peti. Hubby wanted something different yesterday, takmau makan ikan singgang. So, I decided to grilled the lamb. Hubby is on blood type diet besides the bodyforlife diet, so dia kena avoid eating chicken and meat coz he's blood type AB.

Alamak! I need to continue this after aku habis exercising. I'm in a hurry..

Ok! Done with my upperbody exercises. Hari ni tak sempat nak buat back and fly. Tadi cuma buat bicep, tricep and arms je. Bengkak rasa muscle kat tangan ni. Nak menaip pun rasa lenguh. Kejap lagi, hubby will bring Iman to Hospital Selayang for her appointment dengan ophtamologist kat sana. Hopefully by today, dah boleh buat glasses for Iman. She has been complaining of not able to see what's written on the board for the past few weeks.

Kesian anak aku sorang tu. Selalu kena marah dengan cikgu sebab tulis salah. Cikgu kelas dia pun satu hal, dah bagitau that she's waiting for her appointment dgn doctor then baru boleh buat glasses, still tak paham2 lagi. Apa la yang susah sangat nak paham. Or maybe dia buat2 tak paham.



Grilled Lamb Chop

 Grilled Lamb Chop with Apple Blueberry Yoghurt Salad.


Grilled Lamb Chops

Ingredients

* 1 tablespoon rosemary
* 1 teaspoon thyme
* 1 tsp basil
* 1 tsp cayenne pepper
* Salt
* 1 tbs crushed black pepper
* 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
* 6 lamb chops, about 3/4-inch thick
*1/2 whole lemon, buang the seed and skin.

Directions

Mix everything in a bowl, then rub on the lamb chop.

pastu grill dalam oven for 30-45 minutes depending on the thickness of the lamb chop.

    K.Lili suka lamb... lembut tak the one you grilled tu? Lepas marinate lamb tu, perap tak dulu? (ececeh....manyak soklan ler pulok!) ;)

    i suka ni..well, both hb n me suka sgt mkn lamb :D
    eh, lamb ni nampak mcm dry? slalu i buat mcm ala ala kat tony romas tu...berminyak sikit..
    and the apple blueberry yogurt salad tu u dipkan apple dlm blueberry yogurt ke? (ehehe i rasa i lg byk soklan dari lili tu)

    wow u dah lost 9kg?..that is really something tau!!..for me the last time i went on diet, i lost 10kg in 3 mths, tapi lepas tu dia stagnant tak nak turun2 lagi..puas dah i cuba..then lepas tu..badan dah tak boleh take it..menggigil..i terduduk kat shopping centre on the floor,
    nasib baik time tu..kat ladies department so tersorok sikit kat belakang baju2..hehe..my mum & hubby dah bising..suruh makan..people that know me cakap i banyak dah turun tapi muka i macam orang sakit..maklum juga, my face used to be chubby sekali turun pipi pun turun..lepas tu never look back..melantak sampai sekarng hahaha...
    alamak sorrylah...not a good motivation story betul kan i ni..hahah..just nak share my experience aje..

    Lamb tu sangat lembut. Kena make sure the lamb tu medium cooked. Takleh terlalu masak sebab kalau masak sgt, it will be tough. I didnt perap pun the lamb. you can perap if u want to. my hubby was too hungry semlm, tu yg main sumbat je dalam oven. but without perap pun, rasa dia still sgt sedap :D

    My lamb tak dry sgt, just nice. Actually, if u want, boleh rub dengan butter sikit lepas dah masak, but I opt not to sebab tgh diet, kononnya la.. hehe.. the lamb i'm using is, lamb leg, memang takde fat compared with lamb shoulder.

    we love lamb too. my hubby la especially nya. kalau boleh, dia nak makan lamb everyday. Mula2 I wanted make apple yoghurt salad, pastu bila bukak peti, tengok cuma ada blueberry yoghurt je. maka, jadilah apple blueberry yoghurt salad.. hahahaha.. i think semlm i was trying to be overly creative. luckily, rasa dia ok :D

    ps : cantikkan guna the BB cream? I pun suka sgt bb cream tu. kalau keluar rumah, tak mandi, just pakai bb cream pun, still nampak cantik berseri2.. hahahha

    Alhamdulillah, I have a partner in this losing weight journey, so bila buat tu, rasa bersemangat sikit. Pastu, I make sure that I ambik enough nutrition, termasukla ambik protein drink yang khas untuk bodybuilder to expedite the muscle recovery. I think, sebab tu jugak I managed to lost 9kg in 1 month.

    Bahayanya you diet sampai nak pitam. Tiba2 teringat kisah my mom. She was fasting, tengah turun escalator, tiba2 dia tumbang. Alhamdulillah ada one boy tolong pegang dia before dia sempat tergolek ke bawah. You have to be careful dear. When dieting, the most important thing is, eat enough nutrition.

    Tapikan, I perasan one thing, tukang masak aka moms like us, memang susah nak go on diet sebab asyik kena rasa makanan je. i sekarang ni, will only cook sedap2 on sunday je, so that i tak tergoda dengan makanan sendiri.. hahaha.. cruel me kan? :D

    beli lamb kat pasar keramat. kat situ, lamb dia takde bau yg tak menyenangkan. brother yg jual lamb tu, kedai dia kat hujung sekali, betul2 depan lorong jual ayam :D

    mlm ni i kena buat lamb chop again.. and maybe i'll make red velvet cake too.. :P
