Kek Lapis Rempah again

The first kek lapis that I baked kelmarin, dah habis semua Mas (adik aku) bawak pegi office. Hubby said, he wants to eat kek lapis on his free day, which is on Sunday. So aku, sebagai isteri mithali, terpaksa la buatkan kek lapis lagi. What I hate about baking kek lapis is the fact that it takes so long to siap melapis. I started at 4pm, I finished almost 6pm. Dua jam tu bake kek! Letih weh! Memang tobat la taknak buat lagi dah kek lapis (boleh caya ke?).

Sebab kek lapis tu jugak, aku terpaksa ambik Iffah a bit late. Iffah keluar from KAFA, 5.30pm, Iman keluar 6.15pm. Masa aku sampai KAFA, it was already 6.10pm. Iffah dah menunggu dengan air mata berjurai2. A boy from another class, pushed her while she was playing at the school compound. The cut on both her knees were pretty bad sebab dia jatuh kat atas pasir. Dah kena bawak dia pegi klinik, to clean up the wound and ambik injection tetanus. Risau jugak kot2 masa dia jatuh tu, terjatuh kat atas benda yang berkarat or anything yg boleh menyebabkan tetanus.

Tapi, Iffah ni, dia penakut yg amat sangat dengan jarum. Nampak doctor ambik jarum je, terus menjerit2 mcm orang kena hysteria. Terus tak jadi ambik the tetanus jab. Hopefully takde apa2 la. Today, dia dapat MC! Happy sakan makcik tu. Hubby was so damn pissed with the boy yg pushed Iffah tu. He forced me to go to school later, report kat ustaz. Dah tu nak buat macam mana, budak2. Jadi satu hal pulak aku kena pegi sekolah KAFA nanti, to file a complain dengan ustaz kat kelas Iffah pasal that boy. Eeee.. tension je!

Kek Lapis yang ke 2 untuk minggu ni. That's a new record!


Nampak tak the mickey mouse mug kat belakang tu? I bought the mug 15 years ago kat disneyland, LA. Lama giler! :D

Muka budak yang baru lepas nangis. Actually dia berenti kejap nangis sebab mama ambik gambar, pastu sambung balik nangis. She refused to show to the camera the cut she sustained. Dia kata malu la mama upload dalam blog :)

    eh, cantik arrr lapis u... shidah, mana u beli rempah tu? i dah lama tk buat lapis rempah sbb tk jumpa rempah yg sedap tu

    kesian kat iffah. tp takleh tahan gelak bila k.shidah mention dia berenti nangis kejap sbb mama nk ambik gambar. hahahaha..

    anyway, the cake is so very perfect! nipis gila the layering!

    Bila I balik M'sia nanti, I nak order kek lapis fr you tau! Nanti I beli kan you barang baking fr here as a swap, hehehe ;-).
    Kesian Iffah. Memang kena let the teachers know about the bully lah. Or else, he'll get away with it and do it to someone else. What if jadi lagi teruk kan...
    Yeay for the MC though, hehehe...

    i pun rasa geram jugak. iffah was too scared nak bagitau my hubby sebab dia tau abah dia sure akan mengamuk kat budak tu.

    I beli rempah lapis nona je. i tak tau brand apa i should use. kat bagus ada yg indonesian brand. nanti i'll try using that and bagitau whether sedap ke tak :D

    mula2 tu kan, risau jugak nak melapis, takut tak jadi. tapi bila dah buat, takde la susah mana. kena ada good relationship dgn oven. so that boleh dapat exact timing for each layer to brown. cuba la chikmi :D

    i wouldnt say buli. i think tu kes main melampau. masa tu iffah was running, tengah kejar another boy. then kawan budak tu datang tolak dia, jatuh kat atas pasir.

    akak rasa kan, kalau izah yg melapis, sure lagi lawa :D

    yay!! nak!! k.min nak brapa bijik kek lapis? ni kira kita buat barter trade la kan? hehe.. happynya dengar. semlm my sister in law yg duduk paris pun offer the same gak, nak belikan silicon baking stuff. happy!! maybe sebab tu jugak bila buat kek lapis, nampak lawa kot :D

    petang ni i'll go and see the boy without sham. bawak sham, risau budak tu pengsan sebab takut sgt. tau je la, sham tu garang. MC is for today and tomorrow. tomorrow dia org ada sekolah ganti :D

    Thank you! Thx to you, now I can melapis dengan penuh suka hati walaupun takde penekan.. hehe.

    Jap lagi after friday prayer, i'll go to school, jumpa ustaz dia. pagi tadi, sek kebangsaan taknak pegi. now time sekolah kafa, iffah beria2 nak pegi. risau jugak kalau kena tolak lagi.
