I wanted to post this entry tengahari tadi, but I was so tired. Mata tengah sakit, kena pink eye la pulak. Dah la suara still takde. Bila cakap dengan orang, instead of suara husky sexy, dengar macam itik serati.. hehe.. Anyway, I found this recipe dalam this blog. Her blog was featured in yahoo news yesterday, dasyat kan? This girl beli a dress at $1 and turned it into a headturner. Her budget for her clothings is $1 a day. Aku suka baca her blog, she's very creative. Kalau aku, memang tak terpikir nak buat mcm dia buat.
Anyway, I tried the 5 Minute Chocolate Cake recipe in her blog, and it was a failure. Maybe jugak aku suka my choc cake to be moist, bukan dry mcm telur dadar. I made some alteration to the original recipe, and instead of calling it 5 Minute Chocolate Cake, I'm calling it 3 Minute Chocolate Cake. It's confusing la bila call it 5 Minute Choc Cake, coz initially I thought the cake is cook in the microwave oven for 5 minutes. Anyway, this is my version of the recipe.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
6 tablespoons milk
5 tablespoons oil
A small splash of vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 large coffee mug (Microwave Safe) (I used small pyrex bowl)
Method
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly before pouring in the milk and oil in. Keep mixing. Add the optional chocolate chips next (who makes that an option!) and vanilla extract, and mix again...
Put your mug in the micro wave and cook for three minutes on high. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow it to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
Note : aku rasa kalau steam this cake, lagi sedap. Anyway, cake ni edible kalau makan dengan choc syrup or ice cream. selamat mencuba! :D
Ni mesti minum ais banyak masa berbuka sampai takde suara! :)) Tukar minum air getah anggur dan selasih, insyaallah kurang sakit tekak tu.
ReplyDeleteK.lili, hehe.. macam tau2 je. air getah anggur tu apa? nak try minum la esok waktu berbuka. thx for the tips! :D
ReplyDeleteShidah,
ReplyDeleteGetah anggur tu boleh beli kat kedai runcit yg jual selasih, kembang semangkuk dll. Musim2 Ramadan ni, mesti banyak ada. Kak Lili lupa pula the other name for getah anggur...
You've got to soak them before consume. Campur syrup rose pun sedap, but I would suggest you reduce the sugar.
You'd probably find getah anggur & the gang dalam minuman laichikang. (huhu, betul ke ejaan tu, Shidah!)
Hikhik...dah google tadi baru ingat nama lain for getah anggur is katira/h. A gum resin of a certain tree. Also known as olibanum gum resin.
ReplyDeleteKembang semangkuk is also good for sore throats. So the combination of both katira and kembang semangkuk will do wonders.
k.lili, thank you so much!! pagi tadi bangun tido dengan tekak yang sangat perit. rasa mcm taknak pose je.. hehehe.. kalau umur 9 tahun boleh jugak buat mcm tu. bila swallow saliva, rasa sakit sampai kat telinga. hopefully mlm ni boleh ke carrefour untuk cari bahan2 tu. thank you again k.lili :D
