Happy B'day Dear Hubby

The kids were so excited tadi. Abah's bday is around the corner. He's going to be 41 yrs old tomorrow. Yuck! So old.. Iffah once meluahkan perasaan pada aku, masa tu suara dah mcm nak nangis "Mama, adik takut, abah dah tua, nanti abah mati". That was last year, masa B'day abah yg ke 40. This year, abah turns 41 tomorrow.

Dear Hubby, for all my shortcoming, I love u very much. I dedicate this poem to you.

Diciplak from one of the many poems dalam net ni. Since I'm not the lovey dovey type, so it's kindda hard to express my feeling. Sorry dear Hubby..

What's cooking? Tadi balik from keje, my 2 girls sibuk ler nak tolong mama buat cake for Abah. Tak tau ler pesal, rasa mcm nak buat carrot cake je. By the time carrot cake tu siap, the kids dah tido. Nampak gayanya terpaksa la aku postponed B'day celebration to tomorrow. I cooked Daging Masak Merah for dinner. Since aku malas nak ambik gambar, maka aku cedok gambar lama yg aku upload kat FB.


Daging Masak Merah


Ingredients
Daging - 1kg, ptg 4, rebus, then air simpan

Bila dah masak daging tu, toskan, then lumurkan red colouring, jgn campur air. Then lepas tu baru bilas daging dgn air.Lepas dah bilas, potong daging nipis2.

For the gravy.
Bwg putih - 5 ulas, ketuk
Bwg besar - 3 biji, potong dadu besar2
Capsicum merah, hijau and yellow - 1 biji each, ptg dadu besar2
Kicap manis - 3tbs
Tomato sauce - 4 tbs
Chili sauce - 2 tbs
Sugar - 4tbs
Salt - 2 tsp
Oyster sauce - 3 tbs
Corn flour - 1 tbs, bancuh air

Cara2
1. Daging yg dah potong nipis tu goreng sampai 1/2 garing. Then remove from heat.
2. Minyak goreng daging tu buang sikit, tinggal just enuff to goreng bwg putih, not too oily. Bila garing bwg putih, then masukkan air daging.
3. Masukkan air daging, semua sos, kicap, gula, garam and cornflour.
4. Masukkan daging, then bila dah menggelegak, masukkan capsicum and bwg besar, immediately tutup.
